Jerem only looks at the folders you pick, and never changes, moves or deletes your files. You can remove a folder or a PC at any time.
Questions
What can Jerem see?
In the folders you pick: the names, folders, sizes, dates and types of your files, a fingerprint of each file (so it knows when a file changes), and which PC each file is on. If you turn on file contents search for a PC, also the words inside its files, so you can search them.
Does Jerem change my files?
No. Jerem never changes, moves or deletes the files on your PC, and never looks in folders you didn't pick.
What is file contents search?
It lets you find a file by the words inside it. It's off until you turn it on for a PC, and you can turn it off at any time. Turning it off deletes the words it copied.
Can I remove a folder or a PC?
Yes, at any time. A removed folder leaves search at once and is deleted after 30 days.
